Cyberbrad is my personally coded website that I'm using as a portfolio and blog, hosted on GitHub. My goal is to expand this website as my experience grows to showcase my projects and expertise. Additionally, I aim to share cybersecurity news that I find interesting.

Welcome! My name is Bradley Roff. My goal is to enter the expansive and exciting field of cybersecurity. I am a Student For Life, who always strives for new knowledge.

Why cybersecurity?

I was born with a rare physical condittion called Multible Hereditary Exestsis which caused me to be in a wheelchair until I was twenty after fifty surguries. I could not do many physical activities because of my condition, so I mainly grew up with the internet and various games. I find computers and programing very engaging and want to be able to do a job that will challange my mental capabilities without me having to worry about any of my previous physical limitiations. While I don't currently have a spacific area that I want to specilize in, I want to get as much experiance as I can to find the field that is right for me.

I have several interests across the field of technology. I enjoy listening to various podcasts for entertainment and to expand my cybersecurity knowledge. In my spare time, I find myself browsing security news sites for any interesting stories. When I had enough of security I like to play online games with friends through Steam. When I've had my fill of security, I like to play online games with friends on Steam. Another hobby of mine is training and playing with my dogs, with whom I also volenteer.

About my dogs and Dogability!

I love bonding with my pet dog, Cloud, in my spare time. As he became well-trained, I decided to participate in the charity DogAbility. This charity involves volunteers and their pets helping various groups, such as Girl Scouts, the elderly, and people with a fear of dogs, learn how to care for dogs. It is fulfilling work, and if you're in the Long Island area, I suggest checking out the charity.

What is MHE?

Multiple Hereditary Exostoses (MHE) is a rare bone disorder characterized by the growth of bumps on bones, known as osteochondromas, which can grow to extremely large sizes. For example, I have undergone multiple surgeries to remove these bumps, including one the size of a baseball from my leg. Despite lacking nerves, these growths can cause pain by impacting various structures within the body. Working with computers and technology has provided me with an escape from the medical challenges I faced. Fortunately, today I am in a medically stable condition and eager to expand my cybersecurity knowledge.
